You wake up in the morning with your pole in your hands.  When you have a 8:00am PT appointment and get up at 4:00 so you can go sink some more brush. It was close to 15 degrees so I had thermals and all my other cold weather gear on and they sure looked at me funny when I started stripping off all those layers at the Dr.'s. (but hey, I was warm!!!).

When you guide for crappie twice a day for six days in a row, then take your buddies out to catch crappie on Saturday night when you get off work.

You set the hook in your sleep. I purposely dream as I go to sleep, about finding a nice tree in deep water with an easy limit of fish by just fishing 6-10" into the tree top. Yes that's bad. But I also dream that others are watching me but I set depth by stretching my arm out as I feed out the line. The other boat passes by and asks how I can get my jig back to the same depth each time? Why don't I just pull string up by hand and leave the reel alone so it's the same spot. I say,I'm just that good! I too think I'm sick in the head. I need to go fish soon!

Kids were there in our poor mans pool last year. Josh from bone head tackle sent us some good stuff and kids had to go try out like right now!
