I was out there last Sat. Caught 1 good fish on a trap and a few more on a jerk bait. I stayed shallow but have heard there are some good fish deep.

I heard Lake Tyler was closed to presidents of bass clubs.

I don't know how you would "close" a public lake that is owned by the City of Tyler.

Right now the East Side is fishing the best. It will probably stay that way for the next couple months. Of course that is not to say you can't put together a nice stringer on the West side...
