I did not go on the lake to day but fished coffee creek on north east part of lake fork. Everyone I seen today that had lots of fish was doing the same, jigging minnows. Seen lots of limits but not a cork all day. All tight lining.

Hope they all did better than I did Friday on jigs. I stunk it up pretty bad.

Minnows or jigs? That question that never gets a solid answer. Fish what works.

I'm no way an Expert. When it comes to Crappie.
I have learned. Over the years. Jigs/ different color's. Will out catch;
Crappie. Along with Minnows, outcatching Jigs.
With that said:
Start out with BASS-Minnows. This time of year; Early. Then Jig'm.
Take a Bass Minnow. Pinch in1/2. Hook the head thru the eyes. Hook the
the bottom 1/2, thru the "Vent", with the guts hanging out.
Stirs up the bite.
Good-Luck.
