All divisions:- Everyone fishes independently (this is NOT a team format)

- Boats may have as many contestants on board as the boat is rated for.

- Every boat needs commercial fish measuring board or Hawg Traugh with 1/4 inch markings and digital camera (phone cameras should be ok as long as board measurements can be confirmed by judges)

- Registration - Upon gate opening, we will collect entry fees, draw for id# (each division) and boat #, and provide unique identification item or marking for your photos.

- Launch - Contestants may launch whenever they are ready and should beach or hold in launch area to wait for take-off announcement. (Kayaks will launch and wait for the signal at the no-wake marker. Motorized boats will take off in the order of their boat # and proceed toward the dam before heading towards their fishing spots. This will give an even footing for Kayak fishermen to get a fair and safe start to their day.) Keep loading docks clear for loading and unloading only.

- Take-off - Safe light (estimated 7:00AM) power boats takeoff in draw order (idle out to a buoy or designated boat). Kayaks shotgun takeoff after power boats clear.

- Species: Any largemouth, smallmouth, spotted bass or guadalupe bass.

- Techniques: Artificial baits only with rod and reel.

- Obey all state and local laws. Wear lifejackets at all times on kayaks, and when gas motor is running on power boats. Do not fish within casting distance of another boat or kayak.

- Measuring: Measure fish with the closed mouth touching bump board OR Hawg Trough. Round up to the quarter inch past the line which the tail crosses. Example if fish tail crosses the 14 1/2" mark, you would record on the catch log at 14 3/4".

- Photo: Hold fish with its closed mouth touching the bump board and photograph entire fish with unique hand id mark visible and measuring board numbers at the tail visible. (Photos will be used to confirm recorded catches of anglers with highest recorded measurements of 5 fish. Only the photos of the top participants from each division will be judged)

- Record: You may record every fish of 12" or greater. Biggest 5 fish per angler will be used for scoring. (Ties broken by total # of fish caught. If still tied, Anglers have the option of requesting a 45 minute sudden death fish off.)

- Weigh-in: Power boats weigh-in cards must be in the weigh-in bucket by 3:00PM. Kayak anglers' weigh-in cards must be in the weigh-in bucket by 3:30PM. (BE VIGILANT AND OVER CAUTIOUS!!! THIS IS A MULTI PLATFORM FUN CHARITY EVENT AND SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT. GRACE WILL BE GIVEN, IF LEGITIMATELY NECESSARY! THERE IS NO NEED TO RUN ANYONE OVER TO GET TO THE RAMP, AND ANY UNSAFE PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!)

- Judging: We will transfer measurements of the top 5 catches for each angler into the computer spreadsheet. Computer will create totals and we'll sort each division from highest to lowest to determine placings of each division. Anglers with the highest totals of each division will be asked to show their photos to the judges to confirm everything. If photos can not confirm recorded measurements, the next highest placer will be reviewed by the same process to determine proper winner.

- Awards: Trophies and prizes will be presented informally after judging is complete.

- All funds collected will go directly to Radley's family.
