Going to Gvine in the morning, on the TPWD site it says fish are biting on shakeyheads and flickshakes near the marinas, does this mean in the docks? On back in the coves by the marinas? Need some help, haven't had any luck on the past 2 trips to Gvine and want to fish hard tomorrow, just looking for any tips on where the fish might be at. Anything helps!

If it's any consolation, I fished out there yesterday for 4 hours without a bite. I'm not very good, though.

I was there Thursday, Not a bite. It looks like the lake is turning over, very dirty. Probably 6" visability.

I wish I was lying, Rudy...10am - 2pm I fished hard and high percentage areas....not even a sniff. 44-46 degree water. Now if this warming trend would have been in its 4th or 5th day it may have been different. I let a jig sit for a minute at a time. That's hard to do, too....

I got a 6.5 on a jig a week ago after fishing for 3 hours. Very slow. But if you get one Boom it'll be a good one.

One bite that I missed today off a main lake point. Shad were in 30 ft of water. It's been a few weeks since I was out and didn't expect the water temp to already be in the low 40's.
