Chad and Fireant from the forum came out for a scouting trip with me today!! Even though the river is slightly up, these guys are whipping the fish!! As if 10am we are on about number 25 or so and they are still catching!

Stop at the bridge on Friday at 1pm just to look around. Can you make by kayak from hwy 59 bridge down to 2517 bridge and would I want to. Is better to just go up stream from 2517 bridge.

Looks like a great time!! Can you tell me more on the height of the river. I know there has to be a website that tracks the river levels, but I don't know where to start. What level is best for the sabine?

I wouldn't try a kayak egar. When you reach the falls, the current is pretty bad right now. Very dangerous bud. I would go up river.
Fireflyfishing...just google Sabine River Water Level and it will pop up. I look at the one from Beckville..It needs to be around 7 or 8 for the best fishing. At that level, the water is below the falls.
