I am looking for a site that will perhaps shed some light on at least the upcoming 30 day weather forecast. Realizing that is hard, LOL especially here in Texas but there have to be some meteorologist somewhere that venture their best estimation on a forecast. Am looking at planning a trip to Toledo Bend for three days sometime during the week, thus my reasoning for looking. thanks in advance

Lee, I use a conglomeration (is that a real word) of stations. Since I have a place at Lake Fork I use KLTV Weather app - pretty good for 2-3 days My Radar Pro app - pretty good for 3-4 days Weathertrends360 - this one you have to be a member to get 30 days, but its pretty good

Conglomeration sure sounds like a real word to me! Farmers Almanac looks like pretty solid historical information. thanks you you all for the kind and prompt replies. I don't mind being 'cold' but I just refuse to 'freeze my butt off' or fight high winds. This is all about having fun and those kinds of conditions are not condusive to having fun. It's a big lake and my rig is NOT powerful engine wise so I don't want to get caught in foul weather. God Bless

7 day forecast= correct less than 50% of the time 30 day you can probably get a 30% rate and you'd be jumping for joy

Your setting yourself up for disappointment. The weatherman can't get it right for the next 2 days much less 30. You have as much chance seeing a Palm reader or a witch doctor.

I think the advancements in weather forecasting technology have the meteorologists getting it right within 5 days more consistently than ever before. The 10 day is a crapshoot when you get out to 8-10 days though they are better than in previous years.

Take the boat....rainy and cold.
Leave the boat home....sunny and warm.
That usually works for me other than if it's a tournament then it's high winds, rainy and cold.
Stress less, relax more. Go fishing.

There is ramps on Toledo where you will be able to put in and at least be able to fish regardless of the wind. You might have to drive to get to them. And you dam sure don't want to be caught out there in strong north wind .

North wind, good info, thanks. Accuweather...I watch that one but, thank you. Probably right about going without the boat, beautiful weather, take it...miserable this time of year but, for now, I'm going to chance it. Always been a 'bucket list' lake to fish...and for now, health is holding. LOL, not getting any younger that's for sure. God Bless, Thanks all......
