Headed to Fayette next weekend, but haven't been on that lake in over 4 years. Since I use to fish it pretty much monthly I know the contours etc, but I've heard there is very little grass left on the lake. I saw one report from last week about fishing deep water points. Anyone else got a report? Our best patterns at this time of year use to be dark plastics against tree lines near channels and deeper water and ratltraps over grass near the dam. Thanks and I'll post a report after the trip

I didn't lose him at the boat. I shook him off cause I didn't want my hands to get "fishy"

Thinking seriously of heading to Fayette on Monday as well... just watching the wind. Will post feedback.

A friend and myself pulled up this morning to find a full parking lot and boats everywhere. We boated some good fish today, all on the A-rig. My friend even got a nice double.

I think there were at least 4 tournaments on FCL today. With the wind blowing hard out of the SSW, I am sure it was very rough out there today. I haven't been on FCL in awhile but I am pretty sure all of the "grass" is gone. The reeds on my favorite flipping spot somehow vanished, too.

Be safe,
