It will be nice to know any one guides crappie fishing at the big pond. Majority of guides are for the stripers.

have not heard of any guides on texoma, but am sure there are a few,, as far as finding them,, the lake has very little structure, unless it is man-made... there are some good corps brush pile in the back of some coves that produce monster crappie in warmer weather.. this time of year I would hit the boat houses and marinas in or near the deeper water ...

Paul guides there sometimes and Cody. http://www.crappieanglersoftexas.com/Guides.aspxI'm not sure of Cody's website. Carey is guiding striper there and may start crappie later. Boat houses is what I've heard also in winter. mostly West of Preston Point and shallow the rest of the year also... don't know why unless they don't want to get eaten by striper. Good luck!!

I run crappie trips on texoma starting in the spring and going to fall. I don't fish there for crappie in the winter as there are better lakes in my opinion that I hit in the winter. If you would like a trip in the spring feel free to give me a shout and I would love to have you in the boat. My name is Cody Standerfer and my number is 972-743-7098

If you fish the oklahoma side, look at OK dept of wildlife site. It list the coordinates of man made brush piles on the site for lake texoma.

Having moved to southern Ok last fall, I've fished Texoma a number of times. As stated by others, the fall bite was good even thought I got a late start on it. The winter bite is tough to non-existent. Bobby and I fished the Widow Moore area yesterday and were skunked. I was skunked last week in Little Glasses. My next trip will be spider rigging some deep water south of the Roosevelt Bridge. Also, as stated above, there is surprisingly very little natural structure. I found some man made and have added a few brushpiles myself. None of them are holding any fish yet but, I didn't expect them to until spring. If you want to catch fish, I suggest you go somewhere else or try your hand at the strippers on Texoma!

Yea, we are going for stripper, but i figure the time in between we would try to boat a few crappie. I appreciate all the advice from everyone.

If you fish the oklahoma side, look at OK dept of wildlife site. It list the coordinates of man made brush piles on the site for lake texoma. Here is the website for Oklahoma lakes. Go here and click on Texoma. There are 63 'fish attractors' scattered all over the lake.
