I'm sure you've been here, but here's Lund's site for the 1625 Classic.

I can't remember who it is on this board that has one. I'm sure they'll chime in soon as most of us Lund Owners love talkin' 'bout our boats. laugh

Thanks Jeff!

I have been to the site a million times! smile I have the cat but the pictures does not show all. I have been searching the net for pictures and details. Not much out there that I can find. Maybe when I am back up north, Advantage Marine might have on in inventory.

Thanks again!

Ahhh Lund. I have one of my best friends Lund 16 footers at my house. He text messaged me about your post.

If you are in the market for a small fishing boat GET THE LUND!
You will love this boat. We take this boat out when other bigger heavier fiberglass boats are struggling and getting pounded with the wind and waves. I have been on Texoma and Lake Lewisville when no other boats are out there and I didn't even feel alarmed. Cautious but not alarmed.

This is a fishing machine! If you ever get up here in the DFW metromess get hold of me and we can go for a spin.

I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY like this boat.
We went to the Arkansas river over the Thanksgiving holiday and went up the river about 30 + miles and then back to the ramp we probably went about 80+ miles round trip and we still had over half a tank of fuel left. We used about 8 or 10 gallons probably in two days on the river. Would have got better mileage than that had we not waited to close to dark to leave. We had to go near WOT (full throttle) for about 30 miles using gas a bit faster than normal.
This Lund was fitted with a 50 Merc 4 stroke when Brent bought it but If I was going to get another one I think I would go with a 60 2 stroke just for the hole shot with a loaded boat.
It will go about 25 Mph with two people and a full live well and full gas and fishing gear.

Did I mention I love this boat.

This nice weather is making me feel sick. Too sick to go to work but not too sick to go fishing if you catch my drift!

I need to go check it out and make sure it is still working it has been a few days since we used it and it feels lonely. laugh

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here!

PS Fly's boat is the 16 foot Crappie Edition if memory serves me.

I was going to mention that I thought Fly had a 16', but I knew it was the crappie edition and don't know if it's close enough to the classic to help you out for your needs.

PS. Told ya us Lund owners love talking about our boats. See Mark S' post for clarification. laugh

Also, Fly had some pictures of his boat up here recently. So I'm sure he'd be happy to repost them once he sees this. I'll go look in the mean time and see if I can bump that post up for you.

I am the owner of the classic 16 ss at mark s. I also have been very pleased with this boat. I like the storage availability, and extra accessories. I had 4 B-ready rod holders, moveable drink holders, and a bimini top installed at Advantage. Like Mark S said, "it's a fishing machine." Very little spray and very efficient. I also love this boat smile We need to use this weekend Mark S

Do you have a 1625 Classic? If so could I bother you for some pictures? When you have a moment, could you email me as many pictures of the boat as possible? Showing as much detail as possible such as storage, battery, fuel, ect.

Fly has a 1660 Classic which is an awesome boat. My problem is that I am limited by my garage. While the 1660 Classic would fit, it just too close to risk. Nothing like finding out when you get home that the boat is too big. I am down sizing to the 1625 which I know will fit with space to spare.

I was sick during my trip to the metro-plex over Turkey day but not sick enough to stop me from visiting Advantage. Where I spent some good time going over the 1660 Classic. Next is to scout out a 1625 Classic.

I have the 2005 classic 16 tiller. These boats come on a trailer that have an easy stow tongue if that helps any.

If I remember correctly, width was the problem fitting the boat in Sabot's garage. It wasn't the overall length.

Sabot, just tell Joe at Advantage to throw that 1660 Classic in the washer and wash it on hot for a while. Maybe it'll shrink a little so that it will fit. laugh

1625 is the same as a 1660 classic just not as wide. Storage is all pretty much the same. If you saw a 1660, you saw a 1625' just wider.

Crappie edition has the same storage just three pedestal seat bases up front.

I don't think Joe has sold many 1625's because of the narrower beam. I'm pretty sure he won't have one in stock because most people want the 1660's width.

If he could do that, why stop at a 1660? I like a Pro V! Just add water and it would expand. :P

It's sad but it's the width which is limiting my selection. I already asked to have the center post removed but it's kinda holding up the front of the house. frown

The swing away tongue allows me to get a 16 footer into my garage. Tight but do able. Otherwise I would be looking at the 1425 Classic again. (Which I started with. Always starts small and the idea grows until something or someone pops the idea...)

As always, you guys are great! Quick response as normal!

I will see if I can find some pics of the boat. I know BizzyB and I have a bunch of photos just finding them will be the trick as I have A LOT of photos.

Also Bizzy it is not the Tiller. The tiller is the one w/o a steering wheel.
