Really? Where exactly in the river. I have never seen a school of shad in the river. Water is clear and I have fished from the 16 bridge to the dam quite often.

I have fished the Brazos for 25 years and only twice i didnt catch enough shad to fish.Dont go with a net from walmart. You have to have rhe right net. Good luck!
