Trying to decide should wife and I fish CAST or Texas Bass Couples. We live in Tyler area so could fish a couple of different regions, anyone have any experiences with both to give a fair opinion. Deadline is coming soon. Opinions?

Fish the one with the schedule you like.
I looked at the division you would fish with CAST and Lonnie and Kim McGuffey are the tournament directors. Great folks. I have worked with them before and they are very professional.
All couples trails have their pros and cons. I personally fish CAST but that's because they fish more of the lakes near my area. I also like the championships that CAST puts together.
I don't think you will go wrong with either as long as you are having fun with your significant other.
Good Luck in your decision...

If u look at the TBC schedule they have 2 regions near you... great group of people and directors, our championship is on the red river and payouts are second to none... they pay more per dollar than other trails... just take a look at tbc east region a d northeast region... u won't be disappointed. .

Championship for CAST is on Amistad Championship for TBC is on red river. I'm still deciding on what we want to fish this next year. Both are good trails

Not sure on exact number but I think 83, or 88... and one when region did not make the drive... but we are growing every year... pete we scheduled our region around everyone's date so couples can fish multiple trails and events...

I was wanting to give TBC a try but the schedule just does not appeal to me, I have heard a lot of good things about them, we will probably fish cast again this year, probably will not go to the championship, we just have too much going on this year, like others have said, fish the one which fits your schedule and lakes.

Fished a few TBC NE Div tournies last year. Had a good time. Really wanting to fish all of them this year if I can make it happen.

On the Red., you can catch 20+ keepers a day and the largest 5 weigh less than 5 lbs..

JerryC, your going to be happy with either one of the circuits. I work and fish CAST, but I have fished with Jimmy and some of the others from TBC and they are a blast to be around. Fish the schedule that fits you, and if possible I would fish both or try both.

Thanks for all the recommendations guys. Leaning towards CAST Northeast. Fits my schedule better. Hope to meet some of you.
