The BLT will begin a new Marshall Division on January 11 at Martin Lake. Dwain Burns, our TD, will kick off the new Marshall division with an open tournament on Dec 14th at Martin Lake.

The division schedule will be as follows:

* Jan 11 Martin Lake -- State Park
* Feb 7 Pines -- Cedar Springs
* Mar 1 Lake Tyler -- Marina
* Mar 28 Caddo -- Earl Williamson
* Jun 13 Pines -- Cedar Springs

Early registration can be completed by mailing in an entry form or by using a credit card on line off our website. Late registration will begin at 5am the morning of the tournament at the weigh in locations.

Put alot of thought into scheduling the Marshall division, at times the schedule seems a little odd to me but I wanted to try it and see how the anglers like it for my first year running this new division. The first tourney at Martin would be a good warm-up for ya'll if your fishing the couples again Javelinman. For those who don't study schedules closely, both Pines tourneys will be combined with the Longview and S.Arkansas divisions on those days for better turnouts and bigger payouts. The Caddo tourney is combined with the N.Louisiana division the same way. Points for your finish will be seperate and count towards championship and angler of year status in your division only. We believe this will please the anglers each division: better turnout, better competition, better payout, all make for a better tournament. The Tyler tournament is Marshall division only but to my knowledge its the only tournament Bud Light Trail will be having at lake Tyler this year and I expect a real good turnout on this one as well. I look forward to the division and invite anyone interested to give my new division in East Texas a try, I know its hard with so many out there but we really avoided conflicts in putting this together. Water Temp Today Was 38-40 in the morning and a high of 55! Only one stack running 3 boats total on water today

The first Bud Light Trail tournament of 2015 is in the books, we had 12 brave teams fish today. The fishing was tough but the weather was tougher with rain down pouring all day long and temps hovering around the freezing mark, conditions were just miserable...Congrats to the winners and kudos to all teams that stuck it out all day.

Considering the weather and Cowboys playoff game we consider the first tournament for the new BLT Marshall division a success. We are expecting great numbers for the next one on February 7th with 3 combined divisions fishing at Lake o the Pines.
