The center console Nitro was the Nitro CDC if I recall. It was a ship it was so big.

Dual console, be considerate, your fishing partners will thank you, not to mention the extra glove box storage.

Triton used to make a center console bass boat and it would fly, I guess they just will not catch on. The boat I am about to buy is a single, a second console can be added for like 1500, [censored] on that, I really like my boat now when the second console stays in the garage.

The big cdc had 4 across seating and are hard to find. I'm not a huge nitro fan but I have looked for them before so I would have a seat for all my boys to go fishing without buying a f/s boat. Allison makes some cool seating configurations too. I have a dual and wouldn't buy a single, I am a little cramped for space in my 18 ft boat and at times I would like the extra space, but it hasn't cost me any fish that I know of.

I have a dual now and will never own another dual console again. The space a single console provides is much better than having creature comforts for a passenger during the 10% I spend driving around. My wife fishes with me but still complains about bad weather even with a dual console. When there are 2 in the boat the passenger area just feels small. The times I boat captain HS kids my 20ft boat is just over crowded having the second console in place. Skeeter still provides a extra storage compartment on single consoles so the extra storage comment is a wash there as well.
To me it is all personal preference as plenty prefer one way or the other where resale is not affected. I stand and fish most of the day so I want what provides the most comfort fishing which for me is the space a single console provides.

Center Console Bass Boats: Skeeter SK2000 and Nitro 911. Skeeter sold so many of them that they had to stop production 25yrs ago because they couldn't keep up with demand. :-)

First boat was a single, my wife hated it. Now I have a dual console and it is for the purpose of keepin' her happy. And I use the glovebox to hold my wallet, keys and other little things that come in handy in that quick access spot

I had a triton tr186 that was dual and it was crowded! I always wished it was a single. I moved up to a 21ft because I always have at least 2 kids with me and it's not a big deal having the dual. Mine is removable but I have never taken out.

Triton 200xp is a center console boat. That one is nice if you want more room for more passengers. I am more interested in the concept of the ultimate cockpit for 2 people. The Nitro 911 and z9 CDC I would say fall more into this category, though the additional seats are a waste of space beside the driver/passenger main seats. On the Z9 they slide back to reveal steps but even steps are a waste of space that at deck height could've been more storage. Also, the older skeeter ones look like they are less apt to storage space than the bayliner layout even. The Z9 CDC and 911 seem to have really smartly laid storage that maximizes front deck storage/space with the center dual console layout. I'm a big fan of that one!
