New to the forum and haven't fished the Texas coast in over 5 years due to my current job. I'm coming back to Texas this summer and wanting to make a trip down to port a to try and catch some red snapper and kings in state waters. Wondering if I could get some tips on where to start what to use.

Port Mansfield. Lots of rockpiles within sight of shore down there. Also nice bay fishing if the weather past the jetties is too rough.

Honestly not sure. There's a number of artificial reefs that are public record and are probably on navionics, but I don't know how good the fishing on those is.
