Only if you catch that fish and have a witness that can show you pulled it out of the water. Oh and a picture of you with the weight of the fish lol

I'm scheduled to work on the 11th but I think I am going to put in for a vacation day that day to see if I can get off. Watch as soon as I do that it will snow or rain with 50 mph winds..... or it will be 10 degees and the pond will half an inch thick layer of ice on it.....

Jason - We will have a dedicated scale to use. This is so the weight is consistent and there are no variances in weight between scales. We don't want to have a tie because one scale reads differently. What we do is have one person with the scale or leave it at a designated weigh in spot. You can keep the fish on a stringer and weigh it in up until the end of the event. Keep in mind... A dead fish will get you disqualified. It's all about keeping the fish alive and getting them back in the water asap. You will need to have a picture taken by a 2nd person of you with the fish and the weight of the fish.

This app will allow me to send updates throughout the event. If someone catches a 5 pound bass, and you catch one but it's not even close, no point in putting it on stringer. I will also send out update and all can reply and ask questions on there. I monitor it regularly and will reply asap.

Fisherman13... you better be there. Even if it does ice over with 50 MPH winds... I expect to see you there.

Voting is still open on the location to fish on 1/11/2015. I will leave the voting open until 1/4/2015 just in case we have some people that are out of town. I will close the voting First thing Monday morning of the 5th.
Right now the most votes are for Ken Good Park in Carrolton. Morgan Crossing Park is in a close 2nd and Warren Sports Complex is in 3rd.

Only 1 week left to vote for the location. I think we are going to go from 1pm-5pm this time. I'm hoping the extra hour will help catch more bass. If there's any objections, please chime in now.

***There's a chance of rain for this weekend. I will be monitoring this throughout the week. If it looks like there's going to be a significant amount of rain we will reschedule this event for 1/18/2015. Same location and same time. I will keep the this thread updated and the site updated.

Ok guys, Looks like we are going to have to postpone this event until the 18th. It appears that we are going to get a wintry mix this weekend. I don't know about you but I don't want to be out in that if I don't need to be. I understand this is inconvenient, but I'm thinking of the safety of all people wanting to attend. Next week is already looking better as far as forecast.

I have to say something and I'm not so good with this kind of stuff usually.
I need to say thank you to each and every one of you. I'm simply blown away by all of you. I started these events to have fun with my fellow anglers and to get to know more of you better. I had no idea that it would turn into what it has. I started this 3 months ago. My first event, I had over 10 people show up for and the was double what I thought would show. That made me really happy. The 2nd event, I had a few more people show up than the first. I was glad to see momentum and growth. This is the part that has me blown away... This 3rd event... I already have doubled the entry's than the last event. I've had over 20 people say that want to join. 20... yes, I said 20...
I didn't think that it was that many until I just tallied them all up. This has become so much bigger than I ever expected. It has nothing to do with me, it has everything to do with you. Without you, I wouldn't be holding the events. So thank you all.

I would like to give a few special thanks to MusicLife_7 and RobMoe for assisting me with every event and coordinating all this. Couldn't have done it without them. Dan for giving me some extra suggestions and the confidence in where I am going.

I'm a humble guy and don't ask for much out of anyone. So this was totally unexpected. At this rate, I might have to make this a full fledged club.

So, tell your friends and bring the family. Remember... the more people that show, the higher the pot is. Are you going to be the one who takes home $150+???

Thank you, Kris, for starting the tournaments in the first place. They are something I look forward to each month. It is great to meet new people, learn new things, and fish places I had not fished before.

I don't remember if I signed up for the 3rd event or not...and I'm Kinda thinking I forgot to. So, if I did not you can add another one to the tally. I don't think the wife is going to fish the next one, but she will probably be there to help with being a roaming witness and photo taker if anyone needs one.
