Glad they steped up and did the right thing. Its no fun going through all that on a boat that you paid hard earned money for. I went thru something similiar a few years back with a east texas japanese boat dealer and my situation did not turn out that well. Its bad when you learn things the hardway.

Looking at the 2015 tracker 2072 in green.
They don't make the white one anymore.
I will let y'all know what I get.
My wife wants me to spend $10,000 more and get the 21ft Mako I think I will wait.
Thanks for everyone's help and advise. This is the reason I haven't lost my cool yet but I was about to when I went up there.

You know, dealing with employees and even lower managers of a company, you never know what kind of person that you are dealing with. Sometimes they have the wrong people in those positions and it can tarnish or ruin a company's reputation. I am glad that you finally got it bumped up to a vice president who is going to make it right.

Hopefully, the embarrassment of the situation whether it was the dealership, the transporter or the repair facility that caused the problem, will get a closer look from the vice president and it will get corrected for future buyers.

I'm not looking for a new boat at the moment but have considered it in the future and the tracker was one that I had considered just because of the price. This thread has made me reconsider ever dealing with them. I am looking for a used boat right now and everytime that I see a tracker in the ad, I always think of this thread and it makes me cringe.

I think after all of the issues, the time that it has taken and the person accusing you of doing some of the damage yourself, that they should automatically upgrade you to a larger boat or something to make this experience easier to handle. If I heard that, then I'd look at tracker in a different light. If they don't offer something then I think that I will remember this situation in a negative light for a long time.

You waited 3.5 months for them to fix a warranty issue? No freaking way I could keep my cool that long.

Then to deal with the [censored] you had to after that? You are a more patient man than I.

There are too many other manufacturers of reasonably priced quality aluminum boats to have to deal with that kind of frustration. I'm glad it all worked out. Hopefully the new boat won't have any trouble and you can just enjoy it.
