Josh, the orange deck shot with the different handle is proto mold 1 is what I was told today. The shot with Jed and the jumping fish is the third proto mold I believe. Bobby C might know better. There will be a few more changes before delivery in March/April. I figured it was an early prototype. Me gusta.... I like how it's got the comfy raised seating but they're making an attempt to keep that profile down. I'm digging this kayak as well. Low profile, open-concept, rocker, just looking like a great kayak. I wonder what the weight capacity is going to be?

Can you say super stable, faster than a 135, low profile to catch a lot less wind. That's the ATAK. I've had one of the first prototype's in TX for a few months. Lots have changed since then but I can tell you from a kayak fisherman point this kayak rocks.(that's not the Wildy Pro Staff talking) It's open deck is very impressive also.

Looks like they completely removed the bulkhead between the cockpit and tankwell.
Sitting next to the Ride 135 looks to 30" wide and 14.5' long.

This photo has been chillin on Wildy's homepage for awhile. Can't figure out what's going on in the tankwell; some sort of hatch.

I have a Ride 135 but have been thinking of getting a peddle yak. If Wilderness came out with a boat as stable as the Ride but with a faster hull and Peddled. I would defiantly move it to the front of the line.

I am patiently waiting on info/release on/of this yak. Just might be my ticket back in to the plastic navy.

I've seen $1700 base price somewhere. That fairly sound accurate?

The Thresher 140/155 with the standard AirPro seat MSRP for $1,405 & $1,505, respectively. Every photo I've seen shows this kayak comes with the AirPro Max seat (which adds $300 to the Ride series over a standard seat) but it also doesn't appear to have as much factory rigging as the Thresher line, so in my opinion I think this kayak will fall in the $1,500 to $1,600 range.

At least it looks like it may wind up with better side handles than the Thresher...
