Thoughts, experiences, opinions, etc. I feel the hooks are better on the lake fork magic popper than the yellow magic. Also size variations are different. Not really sure if yellow magic is made in japan.

Both are good but two totally different animals IMO.

Used both.. caught lots on fish on both, more faith in the yellow though

Yellow magic is better IMO but LFT is great for price. Let the fish tell u which one they want

Actually they are same sizes. They sit in water and react just like a YM. Both are EXCELLENT baits.

I have used both and both work great, but there is just something special about the Yellow Magic.

I haven't tried the Lake Fork popper, but I really like the Yellow Magic

I will stick with Yellow Magic or Zell Rowland reworked but since he don't do them any more I don't use them much now those were the best ever bar none.

Both are great baits. I got to fish the LFT poppers quite a bit this year and have to say I really like them. I have even got quite a few bass to actually eat the bait head first, which is really cool. It has a great popping action, and I have even got it to walk as well. I think for the money you can't beat the LFT popper, but with that said there is nothing wrong with the Yellow Magic it's just a few more dollars.
