Looking to book a trip for Friday January 30th or Saturday January 31. We have never fished this lake and would like to learn the lake and how to better utilize the electronics.

OK, I'm not much of a fisherman and now I'm going to show my ignorance here. I was thinking the Lake Fork guide tourney was a competition between guides, is the purpose of this to be a competition with paying client fisherman along with a professional guide? If that is the case, I just may have to get in the action and hire a guide for it.

correct - the guide tourney is for the guides and paying clients. It is a great time...if you have never fished Fork, that will give you about a 80% advantage over everyone else fishing the tourney.
