Still like watching those old coots but I do tend to respect a guy like Brauer who won't put his name on any piece of junk for a few dollars a bit more as an angler.

If I could make enough bank to own my own trophy lake selling [censored] I'd sure do it with a smile too though.

Haha. I hear ya there!

That said, I bet those fish are the DUMBEST FISH IN WATER!!! Lol. I love watching them chunk spinnerbaits after spinnerbaits catching a fish on every cast. I also get a kick out of seeing dance with his orange hats, boats, shoes, rods, etc. haha

I know that it pisses a lot of dudes off watching them catch fish that way. There are times when I think I could out fish them too, but, they have probably FORGOTTEN more about bass fishing than I've learned so far.

Do I think they can hang in today's upper level tournaments? Not a chance. I bet they couldn't even turn on a modern day set of electronics. Haha. They'd have to get their grand kids to do it for them.

Also, if I had the chance to endorse products, I just don't think I could who're myself out to promote Zebco reels and Berkley rods. Money or not. I'd HAVE to BELIEVE in what my name would BE ON!! Haha.

I enjoy watching the show but I will say its a little deceptive hawking baits on a private stocked lake. I just try to watch for the entertainment and not for the knowledge imparted.

The level of jealousy and hate in bass fishing never ceases to amaze and rarely disappoints.... roflmao

Nothing like hating on the guys that helped make put teh game on the map. Way to show respect for them hanging with it when there was no money or fame in it.

Way I look at it once someone does enough to get their name in teh HOF as well as signature series tackle then they can fish on as many private lakes as they want. Then again some people have the comomn sense to know a TV show where they caught no fish would suck and fail.

I remember reading Bill's book Bassin Objects back in 80 or 81. It was cutting edge and helped accelerate my learning curve.

See?!!! Shows what you can do WITHOUT electronics! Hah.

I didn't say they weren't worthy? I said I don't think they could hang day in day out. Kinda like Brett Favre. He's was GREAT. PROBABLY still really good. But could he make it day to day at his age? Probably not. Hell. He probably wouldn't want to. I bet Dance and Houston probably wouldn't want to either.

Still. I bet my daughter could catch a fish every cast on Houston's lake or Dances lake. We all could. Well those of us who bass fish. I don't think the catfishing dudes would have a ton of luck. Haha.

I'd like to see Hackney vs Houston. That's how shows should be. Title matches!!! Like boxing.

Give me each a camera man and an hour of fishing. Live coverage.
No spinner baits. No Jitter bugs. Haha.

Got me to thinking, I had 2 rods and reels. One always had a worm and the other either a spinnerbait or top water. 12v trolling motor, 85 hp motor and a super 30 flasher. I was blessed to have that, caught fish.

Bashing Dance is pretty weak, simply because he has EARNED the right to put out a show the way he wants.
