I was pre-fishing, and the wind wind was brutal, but we did catch fish. My partner had just got his boat back from a $4,000 insurance hull job and discovered once we launched that the repair place had to turn his boat upside down to fix and had no oil left in his tank, so I got to fish in the area behind the bouys while he made a mad dash back to Granbury to get some oil, needless to say, I was really thinking what the heck am I doing out here, I did not catch a fish, I was cold, and was thinking this is not a good idea. 30 minutes later and were back in business. It was tough early for me, but my buddy lost a Falcon Cara and a Revo combo on a big fish- the fish took it out of his hands on the hook set. In his defense on his first cast he catches a little dink, then the next cast boom he gets robbed of $500, he was screaming mad! So if you happen to find a Falcon Cara and a Revo combo in the near future - please contact champion01 on here I'm sure he would be willing to offer up a reward!
