If you saw his show looked like a pretty nice lake, lots of timber. he usually says what lake he's on if it's a public water. I'm guessing it was private.

The epsiode was called Booyah Bass Fishing, OK.

Yes, very impressive to see someone promoting lures and such on a damn private lake full of bass that very rarely see lures. He and Bill Dance probably have pillow talk at night. If this ticks you off, sorry...maybe

Dumb statement. I'm talking about these out dated pros fishing waters that we can't fish while they promote their chit like it's must have tackle...I wonder how many amateur fisherman that don't know any better that are blue collar workers that go and spend half their paycheck on BS baits and line and then go fish Lewisville or Grapevine and such not catching nothing....I guarantee you that most guys on here can go toe to toe with them on these private lakes...I'm not knocking them for fishing there, but don't deceive the beginner anglers with garbage junk. Give me a pack of 30 yr old creme worms and let me fish those waters....

Geez, cynical much?

Jimmy and Bill are great...legends...trailblazers of our sport and the industry. I like some of they products they push and some others, not so much. So you GUARANTEE that you can go toe-to-toe with a legend. I'm sure you have an amazing list of accolades that backs this up. When is your show coming out? What channel can I see you on?

Who the French wants to watch a show where no fish are caught? Are they making a living? Yes....their right....if you're blue collar and too stupid to do your own research on what works and doesn't work that's on you..... I've never bought a dang lure based on a TV personality's pimping it!!!!

I don't listen to the "sponsored tournament" guys on here that run to every thread asking advice!!!! I've been on the water since I was a boy. I spent my time learning on my own and with a very limited budget. That being said, I always enjoyed watching Bill catch fish and usually managed to gleen a tip or two without thinking I had to have whatever lure, or rod, or reel, or boat that Bill had.....

Scott Martin is just as bad or worse and he is a young dude. His whole show is an infomercial. That's a big reason I like Wilcox, he's not over the top at all pimping his sponsors.

Longeye, putting something out there with a negative connotation just to get a reaction is a spot on definition for trolling... So yes, I bit...glad I made your day. You're the winner of the Interwebs today, Sir.
