 Curado I problems

Have any of yall had problems with the Shimano Curado i series? I own 4 of them and i have problems with all 4 now. They were great at first but they are all crapping out now. I take care of them and clean them properly and often but they are all messing up now. Anybody else experiencing the same thing?

I have one. Its made in Malaysia. It was great to start out with. About 8 or so freshwater then one three day saltwater fishing trip fishing out of the boat. Rinsed it real good. Lightly oiled it. Now its real inconsistent.
Took a couple of Citica E's and a Chronarch on the salt trip. Same treatment and they are fine.
I will not be getting another Curado I.

I have three. One of them got noisy after a few trips. Sent it in to Southwestern Parts & Service and they replaced pinion bearing under warranty. I mailed it on a Thursday and got it back on Saturday. No problems since.

Is this the newest model? It started happening to mine two weeks ago, I pulled it all apart, cleaned it, and re-oiled it and it finally went away.

I just had it looked at and the repair person said it just needed cleaning. I'm dissatisfied. It is still way too hard to push. Yes, it is made in Malaysia. I guess I will look up Southwestern.

Shimanos are definitely not made as well as they used to be.
