Texoma is fishing incredible. We caught so many double digit fish today it was crazy. A few guys from church go out every year New Years day for a fun tournament, but since the weather was bad this year we went out today. We fished from 9am-1pm and wacked them. We caught all of our fish looking for birds and fishing around them. With a good pair of binoculars you can spot them from a mile away. We just ran to them and would fish them until they dissipated. Throwing 3/4 oz lead head with a white pearl fluke mostly (chartreuse dipped. Caught them in Catfish bay, east of Catfish bay, and north of the bridge outside of little glasses. If the birds weren't working we weren't catching them. We would just look for more birds. They are moving fast, but aggressive when you get on them. I have also caught fish the past week east of Grandpappy and near TI point. I know the fish are all over the lake. The same situation no matter where I fish lately. Birds working then you are catching (unless they are just pestering the loons) which is happening some of the time. If you don't see arcing fish then keep looking. The graph should look like this: Overcast days are better than sunny days for me and drizzle is even better. Here is a group picture of the toads and the fish. Best fish (in the middle of the picture)went 17.5 today. We threw back just as many as in the picture that were similar in size. These fish range from 13 pounds to 17.5 pounds. We only caught one fish under 20" all day. Hard to find box fish. Of course this info is for the weekend angler. Guides have there spots and are drifting them and doing what they do. I hope this info helps you catch some great fish. Texoma is truly hot right now. The guys from church had a great time. Most of them don't get to fish very often.
Don't tell your God how big the storm is, Tell the storm how big your God is!

Sounds similar to my trip up there two weeks ago. Couldn't keep them off the hooks. Wonder what this cold snap has done to their pattern. Heading up there tomorrow...hope its still on but have my plan B if the water has cooled some more.
