Fished friday, no bass for me but had fun catching some nice 5-6 lb hybrids and yellow perch. Painted baits every night the past 5 days so all was good for me. Hopefully I can get a deer and a pig this week and get back to fishing till next hunting season.

Wade fished yesterday in 44 degrees, rain and 15 mph north wind, white capping good. Perfect!

You guys going to Welsh, how'd it go? Was out on Friday and blanked. I did put my dad on one at least (spinnerbait near the Pipeline). The wind picked up and it rained on us!

fished fork yesterday for 6 hours, caught some old fishing line and a wind burn. Fished shallow and deep, fast and slow without a bite. Kinda hurt my feelings

Weather completely sucked Sunday on Palestine. But fishing wasn't terrible got bite through out day only landed 5 had a couple come off and missed a few lost a nice 6 and that hurt especially when ur fishing in a steady 40 degree rain

Welsh was tough for me and most everybody else I talked to that fished it this past Monday. I fished from 10 until 2 and managed 6 fish total with only one that was decent at about 18", I didn't measure it... I ended up catching all of them on a small white jerk bait fished pretty slow.
Talked to one guy that said he'd been out there almost every other day for two weeks and Monday was his worst day yet.
