OP salty jayhawk Outdoorsman S Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 141	It's been 9 long months but will finally be back on Mustang Island the week of Jan. 19th. I plan on wading for trout and reds as I traditionally do in the winter, but also wondering if it would be worthwhile to take a charter offshore for a day. I have absolutely no experience with fishing offshore in the winter. I would appreciate any feedback on whether you think it might be a decent option and who would be a good captain. It will probably just be me and a fishing buddy unless someone wants to go along to cut costs. Thanks for your help. I make it through the day by dreaming of my next trip to Port A.
