I know the weather is suppose to be wet. This is the only time I can get out. Just checking to see if anyone else is going to brave the weather in the morning on Palestine.

Where are you coming from? I live near the lake on the West side, North end. Some folks just come by on their way & pick some jigs up.

I will be coming from the south east side (Bullard). I am short on time tomorrow but I will have to catch up with you and come by another time.

I'm planning on going tomorrow, but I've been notified that I'm closing down a bar tonight first, so it may be more like noon than early morning when I get there.

The forecast I'm looking at calls for it to be a west wind when it finally starts to pick up. I don't think a west wind will be that much of a problem.

But from what I've seen, the early bite has been better this winter, so your plan is probably better. Good luck.

I finally got a couple days off. Going to try an fill my last two deer tags. I'll be back on the water Monday though. Hope y'all catch um. You better make sure to get some of Pepops jigs. Trust me they catch the big ones.
