I live in the San Antonio area and need new bunk boards and carpet. Can anyone recommend a shop?

I took mine to Boerne Marine on Monday. I hope they get to it today. They quoted me a price of 350 - 375 I checked on prices of do it myself about 200 for materials... Lost tools, from throwing them and busted knuckles, beer, and gas to get to the lake to launch... I think that's a good price.
Fishing is....

I did mine for under a hundred in my 2 car garage. I used a scissor jack and a 3 foot board to lift one side at a time, replaced the bunk boards one at a time, took about 3 hours. New boards, screws and carpet was about a hundred bucks. Only reason I did it myself is I couldn't find a shop that could get it back to me in a reasonable time. Not a bad job, bout two six packs, one during and one after.
I am not making any decisions until the bourbon kicks in!

I don't know about in San Antonio, but I know there are guys around East & North TX that will do it in the parking lot while you fish!
I'd either do that, or jack it up in the garage and do them myself. Mostly because I don't like taking my boat into a shop - at all, by the time/money I spend getting to a shop and paying for labor, its a lose/lose/lose situation.
Replacing bunks is easy, You can even get carpet that's pre-cut, it doesn't get much easier. IMO. You'll even save a couple hundred buck!

Save yourself a lot of money and do it yourself. It is easy (I'm no carpenter). Measure your old bunk boards. Go buy the treated wood and bunk carpet. Cut the wood and carpet to size you need and attach the carpet. Next time you go to the lake with your partner drop your boat in the water and take 30 min to take off the old bunk boards and put on new ones. Then go fish.
