I have a 2005 Champion 203 and I would like to extend my deck all the way back to the consoles. I'm looking for something carpeted that sits flush with the front deck. Something where a partner can put their tackle underneath so it can stay dry and also so I don't have to jump over their stuff to get up on the deck. Any ideas, pics, or know where I can get one?

I built my own in my champion. some 2x2 screwed thru the rod boxes and 3/4" exterior plywood. made compartment doors to put partners stuff in so I would step on it anymore. after carpet looks good. I will post a pic. I just bought another 20' champion and im going to do it to this one as well

i'm having that done to my 22 Pathfinder right now at Angel Marine in Dickinson. i need more storage and the walk around area on the front deck will be great. if mine comes out as good as some of the other work i've seen of Angel's, it will look factory stock.

I had this made from aluminum and it is open on the bottom so you can slide stuff under. It can be bolted to the sides but I made a frame to set mine on. I did not want to drill holes in rod boxes. I measured the inside diameter between rod boxes front and rear there was a slight taper to the rear and took 1/4 inch off for carpet. The sides are 3 1/2 inches to give you room for mounting holes. It fits snug after I put carpet on it. Had it made by R & R Design in Terrell. I will try to get better pics.
