People are calling me asking, " How's the crappie biting?" Well, It's 37 degrees and drizzling. The crappie don't seem to mind, they're already cold and wet.
Jason Burton took three guys out this morning. The Smiles say it all!! Great job Jason (and Crew)!!!!!

It was a great morning. After that brutal wind yesterday today was a blessing. The early morning bite was kind of slow but once we found them it was pretty hot. Ronnie, JP and Bill were awesome guys and I thoroughly enjoyed fishing with them. Pepops Joe Dirt jigs caught them well today. I hope everyone gets out and catches a few this week.

I saw Ronnie, Jason & friends this morning as my buddy from the plant and I were heading in. When I couldn't feel my toes anymore, it was time to head for the truck! We fished from about 7:30 till 10'ish and quit with 37 in the box. Wendell will take a picture tomorrow when he cleans them. Jason's right, Joe Dirt was racking up some points today. That's all I fished, Wendell was hangin with plastics, Firehouse Shad Slab Bandit I believe. We were pretty much even as on the count. It was a good morning over all.

John and Roy braved the cold with me this morning and brought 50 nice slabs home. John caught the two biggest in good old Joe Dirt. [img:left]http:// [/img]

Yeah, I took Viktor7 out today & we lasted about 2 hours till our fingers & toes were numb! It was a little bumpy so with the reduced feeling in ALL extremities, many bites were missed! We managed 11 fish which should provide Viktor a good meal for the family. It had been a while since he had felt the thump so he was pretty happy. Had a blast Viktor.
