used 25# XPS at lake El Salto a couple of weeks ago. prior to going I used KVD conditioner on it when spooling, and next day stretched it a bit and put more conditioner on it, and it sat for a couple of days until used, and it worked just fine for 3 days of weightless magnum fluke fishing but on 4th day it really needed to be re-stretched, as memory started to return. sprayed every night while down there but just spraying for overnight didn't work that last day. tied # 6/0 hooks with a polomar knot and had absolutely no problems with it except for the memory return.

I have used it and believe the Seguar Invisx is a better line for about the same price. The XPS has more memory and seems to be weaker. I have used 14 lb and 20 lb.

Use XPS exclusively on all baits except mono or braid applications. 17lb on t-rigs and senkos. Did have a few problems at first with casting and knots breaking. I have used it for a few years now and no problems after getting used to it. I used line conditioner for a little bit, first year, now nothing. Started being a little more careful with my knots, making sure to wet good and pulling even, no more problems. If I get a backlash just be careful pulling it out but this is all fluorocarbon. I don't use anything else. Lighter line for wacky, shakey head and dropshotting. I have tried seagar and other brands, can't see any difference.

Ordered a few spools of it and order was cancelled by BPS. Out of stock and no time frame on when its manufacturer is going to deliver more. Think Im going to order the Seaguar Red Label from Tackle Warehouse instead.

I had some of that. It would break just tying a knot--- white box with a plastic cover on the line. The Toray about 5 years ago was good stuff. White box with a black line keeper on the side of the spool. I got some of the KVD XPS (yellow box) about a month ago to try and so far that seems to work well, but I haven't caught any large bass with it to see how it does.

I have used it and believe the Seguar Invisx is a better line for about the same price. The XPS has more memory and seems to be weaker. I have used 14 lb and 20 lb. Exactly my experience too. Bought some InvisX for a Steez/StCroix combo once. The rod was a POS and caused the line to break. Went back to BPS and they warrantied the rod and "line" with a new rod and KVDXPS flourocarbon. They said my InvisX was too soft(limp). They said the XPS was better. Well. I respooled with InvisX within a day. And traded the rod in on a Steez within a couple weeks. Haha. The line was like casting plastic. It would hold memory over night. Next day I would have to cast (fight through) it about 30x before the [censored] would be usable. Never have that problem with InvisX or Tatsu.

Tackle warehouse has a sale going on called the 25 days of Christmas and day one (which you can still get) is 50% off all Seaguar and for that price you could try the Invizx which I really like and the Abrazx or even the really good stuff the Tatsu. They also had on day like 19 a bunch of Yo-Zuri fluoro and hybrid but I can't tell you anything about that stuff. They also have some others I think in their clearance section although I'd much rather buy any other equipment thats been sitting on a shelf for a long time than fishing line. Even your house lighting can break down fluorocarbon over time depending on how long it has been sitting. Hope that helps.
