If you have Ram Mounts do you trailer with your graph in them or do you always take them off the boat to trailer?

I have a Balzout mount and trailer with the graph in place. Often worry about vibrations etc. but seems to travel fine.

I never trailer with my graphs still on the mount. I always take mine off, but I think it's just habit. I think the ram mount would hold up through.

Pulling it on the trailer is a smoother ride than they endure on the water. I wouldn't worry about vibration.

I take mine off, I always worry about a tire or something getting thrown into them. It only takes a minute to remove them...

I remove mine just to avoid them getting stolen if/when I stop on the way to the lake. Just a bonus that it's easier on the boat/mounts/electronics to pull them off for the ride.

I've got the BIG RAM mount for my 8" Garmin. While trailering I just lay unit down flat, tighten down the mount, and no issues.

Best rule of thumb is to ALWAYS take them off when trailering or storing

I always remove. Mostly to try and ensure longest life possible for my humminbird.

I always remove mine just bc all it might take is one rock kicked up by my/another car and there it goes! But if that's not something ur worried about then ur fine to trailer with it still hooked up IMO!

The 2.25 inch ball ram mount will hold but I still take them off.
