 hds 12 ss transducer mount location.

i just just got my touch 12 in and i have an already mounted hds 7 with a thru hull transducer. where should i install the structure scan transducer and will i still be able to get a good down scan image? i want to ethernet them together. will i be able to use the thru hull on the 12? thanks in advance

The structurescan transducer needs to be mounted on the outside of the boat. Most likely the transom or jackplate. What boat do you have and I'm sure we can offer a good location.

I have a 2010 triton. Also trying to figure out with step to mount it as well
