Going to hit Lavon around 8:30 Friday if anyone wants to join me. Launching out of Colin Park and fishing the woods. Going to set some jugs and fish the trees. Because shad are always hit or miss for me I stopped at the Asian market and bought some mackerel and squid. Never used squid so I thought I would see if they are tired of gorging on shad and might enjoy some calamari.

Did you go out today? Just curious how the fishing was.

As usual I believed the weatherman�s wind forecast and did not go. When I went to bed it has really blowing so I decided it was not a good idea to go solo. Aside from a few showers it looked nice, I don�t know where the wind was but thats how it goes.

It was blowing hard in my neck of the woods at 6am.
