Does anyone ever Crappie fish on Tawakoni? I know there are some good ones here, but no one ever posts anything about Twak Crappie. Pics and tips welcome!

Nope. He was a "strictly Crappie" guy. I have accidentally caught(and released) some huge crappie on jug lines before, while catfishing. I know they're here. Or used to be.

How to catch Crappie: Tie a large Blue Cat by the tail, and send him down to do the dirty work. When done, empty Crappie from belly! roflmao

Use to catch limits before the drought. Since I do not own a boat all my fishing has been from marinas and the bank. Need for some of my old spots to get some water soon as well as the other lakes.

Yep, look on the catfish forum and you will see the monster cats they pull from that lake. Surely there are some big slabs in there too.

I bet that's true Ketchn. Kind of like PK. If you see a bunch of fish in a tree and think crappie, It will be sand bass or LM Bass. Never Crappie.

Texoma has lots of crappie.

Oak Cove bridge is pretty much dry. Have you seen it lately?
