Well Rockwall Roy and i set out this morning at 7:00 AM and it was misting but we were bundled up. We decided to get one more day fishing in before Christmas and south we headed. Pulled up to our first spot and we marked a bunch of fish. Roy hammered one 2 minutes after we set up. Then he got the next ten. So then I switched to a 1 ounce God father slab from www.moestackleshop.com and i soon was catching up to him. We got about 30 hybrids and Roy got two almost 20 inches. I also snagged a 16 3/4 inch crappie biggest one i have seen in a while. we ended up with 71 on the clicker and took home 27 BIG BIG sand bass and one barn door crappie. We headed in at 12:30PM because we had enough and were ready to put some of the fillets in the grease . The last three weekends on Hubbard have been stellar for me Roy and Frank. Hopefully there will still be some water in it so we can do it again after Christmas.

THANKS Roy for braving the cold with me i think we both agree it was worth the trip.

The best bite was between 7:30 - 9:30.

We would have caught a bunch more but we left fish to find better fish 3 times. Ended up back in the same spot all 3 times.

Keith your crappie is a lake record, buddy. I held that record for 8 days so that really sucks!
