Was out there Saturday morning; caught one on a Olive Wooley Bugger. Tried other lures later but struck out... went to Waterloo later after the Honey Do's were done. Here is the report/video.

Caught 41 on silver super duper at Bethany today between 9:30am and noon. First 2 hours threw everything I had and not even a bite! Bobber rig with a caddis work great on Friday and Saturday, nothing today, I think they laughed at it!

Nice fishing Smurfs! Gave it a try at Bethany; had one strike on a Gold Super Duper else no more hits. Did see a Trout caught on a Bubble Fly Rig!

Sent a report to the Web Admin at StockerTroutFishing.com; looks like it's posted as well as info about River Park's Trout Stocking in Fort Worth. Good info about River Park; I recall the Trinity River Water District typically stock larger trout compared to TPWD.

Found a dry fly pattern that worked at Bethany this afternoon. Need to bring a net and charge the camera battery up more... posted report/video. No action shots, battery died right when we found the right fishing fly! Also, had trouble landing the trout without a net, tended to pull the hook out when lifting the them out of the water.

Early evening Trout started rising; was a tough go waiting in the cold and wind but did get two this round! Today's Report/Video.

Is there somewhere that we can look to confirm a stocking was made on the date that it's scheduled? This particular time I'm wondering if Mesquite City Lake got stocked on Tues as scheduled?

Awesome! I was wanting to get back out there and give it another try. If I can I'd like to go Monday or Tuesday sometime. Just wondering how much longer until most of them are caught?

I was at Denton with 3 of my 4 kids. I saw maybe a total of 7 pulled out by 20+ people. Some guy decides it would be a good idea to test out his remote controlled speed boat and he ripped it across the pond about 10 times. I am sure that helped.

Stopped at Bethany this evening. Caught two Trout... report/video posted. Should still be trout biting Monday/Tuesday. Have not seen the Cormorant yet, and the overall bite has been slow compared to other years.
