And I and Im sure along with some others thank you for that Bert. When I first started reading goodbye to a river years ago!!! Need I say anymore? Problem is now Bert is what trip to send you guys off on now for writing matrial?

Hmm, I have some ideas that might be worthy of consideration for LSC. Lots of cool things, history, and sights much closer to home, too. From old mills, bridges, prehistoric native sites, even dinosaur track ways (not the ones on the Paluxy). What do think Bert? Maybe pics to pique your interest?

Notice there's 2 tracks in this pic

Wow, what an incredible story. Is it too early to vote for 2015 Blog and/or article of the Year?

Very...very well done. Feel like I'm reading a book.

Great writing bro, enjoyed it.

I think I'm going to try to hit the Pecos in 2015 and do a sequel of sorts to the Devil's River video. Would love to pick your brain while I'm planning if that's cool. Maybe buy all three of you a beer and suck some knowledge out of y'all. cheers

You bet, Robert. Always willing to work for beer. ;-) Seriously, if anyone plans a trip down there, please feel free to pick my brain.

That ladder ain't there anymore, but it's still one hell of a beautiful place. cheers

Thanks Bert for the continuing story. As much as you have told me about your trip, I learn more with each article.

Funny that you ask that, Butch, because I just found out that all four trucks have been removed from the river bed. It happened earlier this week. I have some photos and a write up I will post soon...but first, I need to post the next installment of our search.
