hit the trout for 30 minutes and totally NADA ....north wind getting brisk
clouds rolling and a front pushing thru ,,,,weather folks say 70 percent this afternoon ?
who cares right ? I am gunna ketch a fish somewhere ....fire up the 265 ponys and roll time ....
spot B and a different selected quarry .....thought maybe I toss the trout spinner at em ??
they have been aggressive on moving baits ....got several small thumps and told myself
ENOUGH OF THIS ...BREAK OUT THEM BAD BOY THERMOCLINES AND GET BUSY !!! time is a ticking you know
well I will say everything changed ...the fish were not aggressive and it took me a bit to figure it out
what was the pattern yesterday was NOT the pattern TODAY .....
east texas killer in the sunshine FAST did well the day before
but they wasn't wanting it much in the cloud cover
went natural shad and SLOW .....
and they WAS wanting THAT

well along comes the thunder , the winds pick up a bit more
and K A B O O M AGAIN ,,,the bottom falls out !
just a pouring rain it was ,,,momentarily the bite shut off
I thought well they are here and kept casting
slower and slower I went and more and more I got bit

one of the regulars was watching me spank them pretty bad and came right over
kinda bold he was and just reached out and grabbed my jig while I was taking a photo !
what the heck are you using he said ? I aint never seen them at academy or walmart
no sir not there I said ,,,BUT as I peeled off the sticker on my bag
if you contact these here folks on the internet and ask for the natural shad in the little fry and mr fry
you can be in the ketchn circle as well
so I gave him a few and a gold jig head
he had the same float as me he changed to when he was watching me
told him to choke it up to 18 inches inatead of the 24 plus it is right now
and BARELY move it with a tiny twitch or 2 !
and said watch me close brother
and within minutes he went to ketchn fish just like me !

only managed 26 yesterday trying to get em figured out
missed quite a few as the bite was a bit fin ...icky ....
broke off on one large fish .....
and had fun for 2 hours
and the special guest star of the day was ?
the one bream he managed on his whatever it was before I tuned him up

not yet but you can bet it will happen at some point

sometimes I do and sometimes I don't brother
darn near got skunked recently trying a new pattern
only managed to ketch a couple a fish and got watch to the other guy ketch several instead
so you see sometimes the shoe is on the other foot

When are u going to come visit me ,we can catch some yellow bass, .I know u love them.
