19 total, three over 15", most around 12". We had to work for them, 30 feet deep in the main lake, but 5-7 back in the creeks. Only one throwback. As I watched my buddy pull it to the surface a 8-10 pound largemouth was right behind it. All I could get out was, "WUUUUUUUU..gub.....uhhhh....AW [censored]!" I couldn't get anything out fast enough to make him give it slack. I got a good look at her as she rolled over to dive and broke off the attack. I swear she looked like she was a foot tall from the top of her dorsal to the bottom of her white belly.

I do the things I do because the voices in my wife's head tell me to do them.

Cool stuff, sounds like a great day.

If you don't mind me asking how are you fishing for them? What kind of baits? I'm new to texas and I've never tried to catch crappie in the winter but want to try it this weekend from the bank.

Need to find a lake that has public access to fish deep water, docks, or piers. Nearly impossible to catch crappie on Rayburn from the bank in winter. Its possible in spring with waders
