I had a buddy send me a link to this auction on Ebay last week and I followed it during the week - seems like this is a rare, limited production pre-Rapala Wiggle Wart - maybe the Holy Grail of Warts...

Look what it ended up selling for - http://www.ebay.com/itm/STORM-NIB-PRE-RA...=item3f42998aa2

You can buy a whole bunch of gear for that much!

Happy Holidays!

Doesn't seen very legit why would a bait ever be worth that much?

People guard the pre rapala warts like gold. I know people who have boxes full of them that won't sell you even one bait.

There are a couple of college kids that will be very happy if they read this. I gave them a box full that were over 35 years old.

Yeah its crazy! They were junky made oddball crankbaits that supposedly had the ability to hunt like a dog.You could buy 3 of them and only find one that would run true and now collectors are buying and selling them for big bucks. Its mind boggling Crazy and its also become a selling standard that most wiggle warts 4sale are labeled as being "pre rapala"wart.

I like to say a lure you have confidence in is priceless but if that lure costs more than $20 might try to find confidence in something cheaper lol. crazy

I think I bought a bunch of those from Doug R. Ended up giving them to a young kid just starting out in the Bassmaster Opens. He was headed to Table Rock. Think he'll give them back to me?

Not lures, but check out what mint .357 Colt Pythons are selling for these days. I was blown away!
