Launched a 24' center console at Oak Cove yesterday. Pretty tight but doable for now. We need rain!

We launched at Fisherman's Point yesterday and my Tunnel Hull CC is still OK, but Adam's Kenner CC made it's last launch there until we get some rain. Barely could get it off the trailer and then had some issues getting out of the cove to the main lake. Owner is going to dredge the outlet to the main lake Monday, but nothing he can do about the boat ramp. Just out of water! About 18" of water at the ramp so unless you have a flat bottom boat, small boat or tunnel hull, better head to Oak Cove the next week or so.

Good Luck!

Thanks,

Watch the little hump right behind your motor when your backing off the trailer
it's a show stopper

I started to say watch the hump at the end of the ramp but there's not any ramp left in the water
and I really don't think we have more than two feet of water left from the ramp to the lake I'm thanking 18 inches .

The good news I don't thank the lake has dropped in the last few days

Really sad to see the lake this low. Seems like every time I go out I find a new stump sticking up in the main lake.

Also watch out for the bank fisherman at fisherman's point marina that likes to throw 8 lines in the water in what's left of the boat lane. He gets really pissed off when you "mess his fishing up". Guess he thinks a boat has the capability to travel over land. He's probably harmless but quite the cusser. He will let out a string of F bombs that will make a sailor blush. If you have kids in the boat make them stick their finger in their ears if he's out there.
