+1 on Academy. I got one off Craigslist. But at Academy you can at least pick out the color you want. Its a great little kayak for beginners like myself. And its very reasonably priced and it handles well and is easy to load on my cars roof by myself.

The academy on N. Garland rd. had some last time I was in there. Also Mariner sails had a nice looking 12ft pescador on the shelf when I was there. Kinda wish I had gotten a 12ft now but none the less I'm still happy with my 10ft.

Yea i saw the one mariner sails has, its sweet but i need a 10ft to fit in the bed of my truck. I like the features like adjustable foot pegs and full padded seat. Just wish perception made the 10ft the same as the 12ft.
Also saw an emotion stealth 10ft there, looked to be identical to the perception pescador buti didnt know anything about it. Anyone have an emotion stealth 10 or know anything about them?

I bought one (10FT pescador) at gander mountain in Lewisville last year, paid a little more than academy but it came with a paddle, anchor and pfd. Convinced myself to buy it even though I wanted a 12 footer,(had a 10 ft sit in already), used it three times, sold it on craigslist and bought the 12 footer that I should have bought in the first place. The extra two feet makes transport and storage more of a hassle but man is it worth it on the water. The Tarpon 100 on craigslist right now sounds like a smoking deal on a 10 foot boat. Good luck on your search!

If that tarpon was a different color i woild buy it in a hwart beat. I also use my yaks for duck hunting and a bright yellow kayak doesnt blend in very well.
