Never have and always forget about it. I live in Las Colinas too so not too far away. Any time I drive by there's always a truck parked down there.

Big bass, some monster crappie, good eating sized catfish, very large sandbass, and have even caught hybrids out of it. Now admittedly, I have had better luck puttering around it in my v-hull, but in the spring, some really big bass spawn right up against the bank, and the crappie bunch up to spawn around some rocks and chunks of concrete on the north shore of the pond. They become catchable on a jig/bobber, very good sized to huge crappie.

On the west bank, some huge trees have fallen in and sunk into about 12-15 ft of water, and I have jigged up big crappie off that brush yr round, but that spot is only effectively fished from a boat.

where is this pond at? Google maps doesn't show a pond close to that interchange. Are you talking about the old water ski lake?

Looks like a good spot for a kayak.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

it is indeed. When you talk about ponds, pits, channels, rivers, or creeks in that area you are in my wheel house! I live less than 10 minutes from that spot and have fished it for at least 30 or more years. Yes it has been there that long or longer. There's a bunch of "hidden gems" all up and down the Elm Fork Basin, and the vast majority of them hold fish, good fish!

Can you even eat the fish from there? I know Trinity had a consumer warning due to high mercury levels last year.

Does anyone know if it`s fished out or is it still producing? I guess the only way to know for sure is drop a jig or two.
