Look for some info on hunting down some LMB on Lake Tyler. Any advice, tips, and info are greatly appreciated: best put in spots, baits etc... Thanks!

I never did get around to fishing Tyler this year, I was too busy with Palestine and Bellwood. I've always thought the marina on the West lake side would be a easy spot to launch not sure how the fishing is though.

What do you know about Bellwood? Would love to fish that lake with some knowledge...

The only thing I've ever heard about Tyler was some island that has a good drop off that people supposedly wear em out with a drop shot rig.

To be honest I've never had much luck on Bellwood. The couple times I went I never found a working pattern. It's a great kayak lake though

Thanks, I appreciate you guys... What about best Yak spot on Palestine? I usually put in at the 315 Bridge just outside of Chandler. That about putting in at the CR 189 Ramp off of 155 out by the Emerald Bay area... Some advice?

Since Palestine is my home lake I fish all over the place. Flat creek bridge, neches river ramp off of 31, will be my hot spots starting around febuary or march. Later in the spawn chimney creek and saline bay are good then I fish a lot of the deep water down by the dam in the dead middle of summer. Can't be afraid of big water in the yak

Tyler Ski club cove has some good fishing, little ramp there to launch from. The hump mentioned above is to the right and across the lake from the ski cove, marked with shallow water bouys, a second hump is there as well, not marked, between the markers and the bank.

I am not making any decisions until the bourbon kicks in!

I think you'd do well to learn Lake Palestine if you can. It's a dynamite lake and kayak fisherman a dream. One of the big lakes that having a kayak is an advantage. I'll be there this afternoon and tomorrow if you want to fish
