I've caught quite a few limits actually. Most people on here don't target smaller fish, therefore making a "limit" pretty tough! This was brought up to prove a point to Dean im guessing? I've fished the lakes Dean was referring to and have caught limits several times. Last time I fished Hubbard Creek I couldn't get the bait to the bottom before I'd catch a 3-4lb blue....been on Tawakoni where you could of had a limit in an hr with eater size blues....so yes limits are possible
I'm gonna miss her....

Iv caught lots of limits from Tawakoni. And many times on belton, Waco, and granger. I don't even consider belton a good blue catfish lake. Yes limits are very possible.

Most trips in the past couple of months we've had at or near limits of Channels/Blues. Targeting the "Eaters" but most every trip, getting a "Slot" fish or two weighting 25lbs. or more. We don't get many TFF'ers fishing with us but have quite a few texting and calling for tips on catching. All fish in timber up the Richland Creek in 20' water. Get out early and look for the roosting Commorants. Danny Kings Blood on a # 4 treble hook is the key to a box full of 1 lb. to 4lb. fish! Be careful as the ramps are in bad shape and the main lake has hazards. Lake is 10.5 feet low.
We have Weekday openings next week and thru the Christmas Vacation Days, and one boat open on Saturday, December 20 and 27. Specialize in Family Fishing Fun!!! Give us a call and We'll Go Catchin'!

Well this just confirms how sorry of a fisherman I am Ive caught my share of channel (blue mix)limits on Waco but never just blues, the 3 blue limits Ive caught were on Richland Chambers. Ive caught well over a hundred a day on Aquilla but dinks (cant figure that lake out been full of dinks for 20 yrs

Dean and I have fished together several times, and we almost always limit out on blues solely however we usually don't keep any
Catching a limit of blues isn't that hard on most the lakes with good blue cat populations provided you are prepared with proper sized baits rods ect to detect lite bites but can also handle a good fish when he hammers the rod
fish to live and live to fish

Opus, I wouldnt say your a sorry fisherman. I think iv only limited twice on Waco and one of those times we did have a few channels mixed in. Iv limited a handful of times on Granger but also had a few channels mixed in. Surprisingly iv pulled more limits from Belton than Granger and Waco combined. Probably due to I usually fish Belton more in the spring when the eaters are easy to catch. I did have an awesome day on Belton in June 2013 where we double limited and also released about 10 around 10-15 lbs.

Be careful on what some are saying on limits. A limit of 25 fish on 10-12 rods for one person is not so unheard of but 3-4 people with 10-12 rods are a lot harder!

Right Spud shoulda worded differently cause to me ya dont have a limit till everyone in boat has 25, my bad, 40 for 2 people isn't a limit to me. Never heard the term "double limit" two man limit is 50 two people don't have a limit till they have 50
