All I can say is if you don't have a GPS you need one! This is all you could see this morning on Mother Hubbard. I just went slow and followed my trails.


The fishing was great last Friday and through out the weekend and it continued today with doubles caught most of the time we were out. I decided to keep some for a fish fry, only a few of the biggest ones so the live well looked like this.


We also caught some of our babies, Hybrids from our stocking all about 16" long so please if you fish Hubbard be careful of what you keep.

Going again Wednesday I will up date Then.

That was good compared to what it was like this am on Tawakoni. It did not break until after noon..

Nice report, Pat. Also, I sometime wonder how the fish can see the lures down deep with such low visibility. They must got night vision?

man was it ever foggy...before we would move, we would call each other on the lake and make sure where we were running wasn't gonna be a direct hit,

Good,report Pat, we made it out later in the afternoon. It didn't take long to locate the baitfish and fish. Our first two fish were small hybrids. We,caught a mix of hybrids and sandbass throughout the afternoon. We used small slabs,deadsticking.

Fog will turn you left ... and then left some more without your gps !!! Still gotta watch for obstacles! Way to brave the elements and bag a few

That fog was tricky. Pat did a great job navigating us to the fish.

Great report Pat! From what we heard last night Pat's texts weren't coming to us during the day. It takes a real fisherman to go out in that soup. But when the fish are biting you do what you have to do! As Terry mentioned in his post we picked back up where you left off. Was a beautiful, still late afternoon. We were drumming to The Little Drummer Boy song! It worked... What a great week of fishing.

Yep Michael the fog didn't lift until about 1pm here also. We only had a few hours to fish so we braved the fog. Frank and Terry I went back out to the slip about 3.30 and was going back out but I had all the fish to clean I decides not to. We had fished for Crappie earlier and had a bunch in the basket as well as the sandbass. The Crappie have turned on at the slip with most being keepers that are caught. Sorry I missed you guy's.

Nice going Pat....I'm on vacation next week and I'm hoping to get on the water several days.

I'm going back Hunting so it was my last day on the water this week. it's been a great catching vacation. Now if the Big Buck show up to make it a great Hunting week as well.
