I was glad to see some new faces and enjoyed meeting all of you. Believe me when I say that I try to always pick places that I know we can catch fish at. The first event every single person caught at least one bass.

I want to thank everyone for the warm reception I received prior to the start of the tournament. Kris, you put on a great event and I am looking forward to fishing many more in the future. I also want to thank Kris, Steez, Jgibb and Musaiclife for the warm congratulations on my win. Hopefully it was not beginners luck but only time will tell. I have came in first and last and every place in between over the years and I have enjoyed every opportunity I have had to participate. Thanks again for the warm welcome and especially to Kris for his effort and leadership.

Congrats on the win Bill Crowe. Eventually I would like to make it out to one of these events but work keeps getting in the way. I would rather have gotten skunked right along with everyone else, than be at work.

Yeah yeah Fisherman13... We've heard all the excuses before... I had to brush my teeth, I had to wash my hair, I had a headache, I cut off my big toe... One of these days I'm not going to believe you.

It would be nice to have you at the event anytime.

Now give me idea's on locations!!!!

What about Ken Good Park in Carrollton or that Frisco place? or one of the places we fished for the Allen Fishing league?

Got 5 this day and 2 the next out there with my best going 17.5" almost 18"
Not sure how the fishing is now since it cooled down, but the really thick vegetation that was there all summer is gone. 22 acres of water....

Anywhere is good. Let's decide. And get it going already! I haven't fished for almost 48 hours and I'm having withdrawals. I'm strapping my belt around my arm and thumping my veins!!! Haha. Just kiddin. But I really haven't fished for almost 48 hours.

Alright, I'll put Warren Sports Complex on the list to vote and Ken Good Park. Bethany Lakes is an option although I would prefer not to go there, but it's not up to me. We could go to Morgan Crossing Park in Allen. That place is plenty big enough for all of us. There's 4 idea's... anybody else got one before I post them.

Both places sound good I've never been to either place. Any ideas on the date of the next one? I got to plan ahead to find a way out of work so I can finally come out and fish.

I've caught a few fish at Warren Sports Complex, but haven't figured it out yet. I've talked a few times with an older gentleman I've ran into fishing there who does pretty well though. There's definitely fish in there and each time I've been there I've only seen that one gentleman fishing...so I don't think it gets a lot of pressure.

I know nothing about Ken Good Park. Where is it exactly?

I've never fished Morgan Crossing either. I missed that one during the Allen Tournaments, but from what I've read it seems like a good place.

I'd be fine with Bethany. The best part about it is that there is plenty of water to fish. The worse part is I think it might get too much pressure.

I'm fine with anywhere. I like the voting system. Let us know what you decide, Kris.

and I'd like to throw Frisco Commons into the mix, also. I've caught some nice fish out of it. Though, I'd say maybe 10 to 12 fisherman would be the limit there.

I agree that Frisco Commons wouldn't be able to handle more than about 10 people. I will put it on the list but I'm going to hold off and add it for the next event. I have the 4 options up on the site as well as dates to vote on.

Let the voting begin... bolt

I know it's waaaaaaaay early, but the votes that I've received so far are for locations voted on are Ken Good Park & Morgan Crossing Park. Don't forget to vote when you can if you haven't already for both location and date.

JGibb....Ken Good park is at I-35 and PGBT....pretty easy to fish...there's two large ponds. Lots of lilly pads....with the two ponds, this place could hold 30 anglers easy....best bass i've ever caught there has been about 3lbs...but caught several shorter fish...
