Looking to get a jackplate for my 86' Charger with a 150 mariner. I want to spend no more than $500, i figured my only option is a manual which is fine, I'd just like some set back and some added motor height. Any recommendations and links that could send me to the product?

Charley or Keith at Charley's Outboard Repair in Alvarado put the one I have on my 95 Skeeter and it was about 300 installed. They do good work and are good people.

definitely give steve a call. just put an 8" on our basscat. improved the hole shot and handling. seems the steering is much more responsive now. getting ready to install the skid plate which should improve the hole shot even more. steve is also the guy to see about getting the most out of your current prop or switching to a more effective prop for your setup. 903.763.0200 or 903.763.5225

Looking to get a jackplate for my 86' Charger with a 150 mariner. I want to spend no more than $500, i figured my only option is a manual which is fine, I'd just like some set back and some added motor height. Any recommendations and links that could send me to the product? I have a Rapid Jack JP with 4" setback I bought from Steve last year that I want to sell. Its rated up to 200hp. Rapid Jack is probably the best manual JP out there. I just upgraded to a hydraulic jp so I need to find a new home for the RapidJack. Send me a pm if interested. Joe B

I love mine and I have a Charger boat. Adjusting is such a breeze if needed. Very well built.I'd add a pic but i can't ever get it to work on here any more. Now I run a 115 Merc and a 6" Rapid Jack.

Any recommendations and links that could send me to the product? Steve is the person to call I have had 3 different makes of jack plates on 3 different boats and the Hydro- Dynamics is by far the best of the bunch. I had a 6" Rapid Jack on my Charger and it was a good one but the way the height can be changed on the Hydro Dynamics makes it the best by far.
