OP Ricky Taylor Extreme Angler R Joined: Oct 2014 Posts: 2,105 Palmer, Texas	Looking to get a jackplate for my 86' Charger with a 150 mariner. I want to spend no more than $500, i figured my only option is a manual which is fine, I'd just like some set back and some added motor height. Any recommendations and links that could send me to the product?

They do good work and are good people. Never argue with an idiot...he'll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Rapid Jack is probably the best manual JP out there. I just upgraded to a hydraulic jp so I need to find a new home for the RapidJack. Send me a pm if interested. Joe B

Steve is the person to call I have had 3 different makes of jack plates on 3 different boats and the Hydro- Dynamics is by far the best of the bunch. I had a 6" Rapid Jack on my Charger and it was a good one but the way the height can be changed on the Hydro Dynamics makes it the best by far.
